What Does it Take to Become a Certified Diver?
STEP 1
Learn- In the knowledge development portion of our courses, you are able to learn at your own pace and on your schedule with either online e-learning modules or physical study manuals and exams.
STEP 2
Train- Get ready to dive! Your first taste of scuba will happen in a pool, where you will develop and practice scuba skills under direct instructor supervision. As you learn new skills, you’ll build experience and confidence.
STEP 3
Dive- Now the real fun begins! Take your skills to open water. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor, you’ll be certified as an Open Water Diver, enabling you to embark on unforgettable adventures!
Our Classes and Services
Youth Classes
One of our favorite classes to teach gives kids a chance to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children with parent approval, who are at least 8 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in the shallow end of a pool. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. See our YouTube Channel for a video of what to expect!
Try Out Scuba
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, this class is perfect for you. Try scuba diving under the direct supervision of a dive instructor in a heating pool.
Basic Scuba Certification
Our basic scuba certification is the first scuba certification level. We will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world. See our YouTube Channel for a video of what to expect!
Advanced Scuba Certification
The advanced scuba certification course is all about advancing your skills. You’ll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward specialty certifications. Here are a few of the many options: Deep Diver, Night Diver, Dry Suite Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. See our YouTube channel for a video of what to expect!
Rescue Certification
The rescue certification course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way. See our YouTube channel for a video of what to expect!
Dive Master Certification
Share your passion for scuba diving by becoming a Divemaster. As a divemaster you’ll supervise scuba diving activities and assist with scuba classes. Divemaster is the first step in your diving career.
Instructor Certification
If you like people, have a passion for scuba diving and want an extraordinary life – become an instructor. Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your love of the aquatic world with others while doing what you enjoy. Scuba Instructors and Assistant Instructors are the most sought-after dive professionals in the world.
Emergency Response Certification
CPR and first aid are key skills that are important to everyone, not just scuba divers. In our Emergency Response certification, you will be taught skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines. The only requirements are that you’re at least 18 years old!
